Constable Estate is located at Pokolbin, a pristine, picturesque spot in the heart of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. A leading destination, our boutique vineyard is renowned for producing exceptional examples of the wine for which this region is well known.
The Estate is home to the Constable family, who have landscaped an awe-inspiring garden containing many unique sculptures. Cradled against the magnificent Brokenback Ranges within this world famous wine region, Constable Estate’s boutique charm has earned a reputation as one of the most beautiful and successful vineyards in Australia.

Our Wine
On our property, 7 hectares have been planted with Shiraz, Cabernet, Semillon, Chardonnay and Verdelho. The premium wines produced from our vineyard in the Hunter Valley have won many trophies and gold medals at National and State Wine Shows.

Our Gardens
David Constable is an avid horticulturalist. Over 32 years, he has created numerous gardens of extraordinary beauty.
All are welcome to have a walk around from 10am – 4pm, on a Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We will provide you with a map to locate the Sculpture Park, Camellia Garden, Secret Garden, Millennium Walk, Rose Garden, Oak Walk and more. In 2014, we opened the Len Evans Memorial Lookout with spectacular views over the Pokolbin area.
